Ricky was born in the USA on 9-28-99 and was adopted by his current parents along with his biological sibling. He has been in the care of his legal parents since 11-3-99. Three years ago he was diagnosed Autistic but is considered high functioning. He is very intelligent but has a hard time communicating his wishes, which causes him to become frustrated. Ricky can be independent and demonstrates few to no behavioral problems.
Medically, Ricky is healthy and takes not medication except for Myralax. He is potty trained for urination but still has a difficult time having bowel movements in the toilet because of his frequent constipation.
Currently, Ricky is in the 2nd grade. He receives A’s and B’s in his special education classroom. He also receives speech, physical, and occupational therapies. Ricky enjoys his therapies and participates fully. Overall, Ricky is a happy child that has high self-esteem. He is able to make and maintain friendships.
He loves to sing, jokes, and play games. His favorite thing to watch on TV is the Weather Channel! He is easily redirected and accepts consequences. He loves hugs and kisses!
Ricky needs to be in a structured, supportive environment that will help him reach his potential.
