Kate was born in Ukraine on 7/24/94 and has been in the USA since mid 2003. She is currently healthy. She loves being around other children but can be immature around peers. Kate tends to do best with children that are younger. She is currently in the 7 th grade and has an IEP. She receives average grades.

Kate takes medication to help with ADHD. The family feels that she has RAD symptoms as well but has never been formally diagnosed. Kate will at times lie to get out of trouble or take things that are not hers.

Charming, cheerful, and always laughing are a few ways to describe Kate. She does best in a structured environment where the expectations are clear. She loves animals and is also very artistic and can express her feelings through art.

Kate is a loving child that has great potential in a loving family where she can heal from her past losses.
