Elaina was born in Russia on 6-19-96. She was placed in the orphanage due to neglect and remained there until she came to the USA 3.5 years ago. Elaina was adopted by a single mother with 5 other children, one of whom is Elaina’s biological sister.

She is currently in the 5th grade where she receives ESL support. She is behind educationally and at times has trouble keeping up with the work. Elaina has been diagnosed RAD, ODD, ADHD and possible PTSD. At times, she has nocturnal enuresis if she doesn’t take her medication, which has been prescribed to control this condition. Although she has had counseling interventions in the past, she is not currently in therapy. Elaina’s home is very chaotic due to the number of special needs children which often over-stimulates her. When this happens, she can act-out.

Elaina LOVES music and dance and has a natural talent in both areas. She is very much a “girly-girl” but also likes to participate in sports. Elaina wants to please adults and would do well in a family where she can receive the individual attention that she craves.
