Andy was born in Romania on 1-17-98. Andy was placed in the orphanage when he was 6 months old due to his family being poor. He has been in the USA since 5/2000.

He is very sweet and loving and has a huge heart. He easily expresses empathy for others.

He is respectful of adults and is well liked by his peers. Andy enjoys biking, skiing, art, and interacting with adults.

Andy has a history of asthma, ADHD, Microcephaly, Tourettes Syndrome, Sensory Integration Disorder, OCD, and possible Fetal Alcohol Effect, and a Central Processing Disorder. He is currently on several medications to help him focus. Andy has made great progress over the last few years but the family feels that he would be better off in another family that is accepting of his needs. There is no history of aggressive behaviors or sexually acting out behaviors.

Andy is in the 3 rd grade and has an IEP for reading, writing and math. He is a good student and the teachers have no concerns at all in the classroom. He is in both regular and special classes. Andy received speech and OT services. All the reports from school are very positive.

This child needs a family that is accepting of his needs and is willing to advocate for him. He is also in need of a loving parent that wants to attach to him. He needs a chance to reach his full potential.
