Adam was born in Russia on 3/22/95 and has been in the USA since 1999.  At this time, he is a healthy child. He is Hep C positive and has extensive scar tissue on his feet, legs, and buttocks (he was dipped is boiling water accidentally while living in the orphanage). The family has had a difficult time bonding with Adam and feel that a replacement is in his best interest.

He has been diagnosed with Depression and ODD. He also has problems with attachment. Adam has an excellent memory and good verbal skills. He is finishing the 6th grade and has many friends at school. He is in a regular classroom but struggles with his grades.

Adam is a very engaging and loving child. He loves basketball and likes to follow the player stats. His favorite show is Sports Center! Alex needs a loving family that can accept him unconditionally. He would do best in a family where he can get individual attention.
