Requirements
Participants in this program will have the homestudy assessment completed after payment is received and required documentation is completed. Before being considered for placement of these children a family must have a completed valid homestudy and an approved photo profile/collage.

In the event that the custodial county has adoption funding, the adoptive family will not be responsible for any other fees. If there is no adoption funding available for the placement, the family will be responsible for funding their services.

The estimated total stated is for the first child. The second child would be $1500, the third would be $750, the fourth would be $375, etc.
Families in this program are required to complete a one page photo collage for distribution of the homestudy. Additionally, they may be required to complete a photo narrative designed specifically for the child(ren) they are match with. This is a way to introduce the family to the child prior to the first meeting.
The following Services are offered as part of your agency adoption
- Pre-adoptive training
- Initial completed homestudy
- Recruitment and matching of a possible placement
- Assistance in completed adoptive applicant photo profile/collage
- Post-placement supervision for up to 6 months, includes 7 visits.
- Completion of pre-finalization report
- Intermediary communication between adoptive applicants, legal counsel, and other custodial agencies, if necessary.
- Coordination of services required for adoption legalization/finalization.
**Possible additional agency fees
- Compliance with ICPC (inter-state compact) for out of state placements - $500
- Appearance of agency representative at finalization hearing - $150
- Post-placement visits beyond the included 7 visits - $125
- Update of an A Child’s Waiting homestudy - $500
- Foster care/respite expenses
- Infant - $35/ day
- Non-infant or special need - $45/ day
- Post finalization Crisis Intervention, case management etc - $varies
- Completion of finalization documentation (if no attorney used) - $varies
Non-agency fees
- Court costs
- Attorney fee associated with finalization
- Cost of birth certificates
- Homestudy incidentals such as CPR class, finger prints, medical examination, fire inspections, etc.
- Cost of diagnostic or counseling services for the adoptive applicant requested by the agency as part of the adoption process.
- Cost associated with travel, if applicable.
- Custodial agency may require fees in the event of an adoption disruption.
